Dementia Summit 2026 – Dementia research and clinical innovation in Switzerland: what is clinically meaningful<\/h4>\n

Covering the most relevant topics in dementia prevention, diagnostics, treatment, and care, this year’s Dementia Summit will bring together experts from different clinical disciplines, Swiss academic institutions, and organizations including Swiss Memory Clinics and Alzheimer Switzerland, to discuss the most recent progress and challenges in the field, and how to translate these into meaningful clinical practice. We will cover topics including: subjective cognitive decline; neuropsychiatric symptoms; non-pharmacological therapies; interconnected care; the implementation of blood-based biomarkers; the start of the anti-amyloid therapies; communication and counselling; and the patient’s perspective. Once again, the Dementia Summit will offer an excellent and well-established opportunity for formal and informal exchange and networking.<\/p>\n

Lausanne Interventional Psychiatry Day<\/h4>\n

Interventional psychiatry is undergoing a period of remarkable growth. Once reserved for highly specialized or particularly complex situations, treatments such as electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), ketamine-based therapies, and deep brain stimulation (DBS) are becoming increasingly important components of modern psychiatric care. This meeting is founded on a simple conviction: advances in interventional psychiatry can only fully benefit patients if they are meaningfully integrated into everyday clinical practice. Our objective is therefore to strengthen the dialogue between specialists in these treatments and practicing psychiatrists, fostering collaboration, clarifying indications, and promoting a more seamless integration of these approaches within comprehensive patient care.<\/p>\n
